What this policy covers

This policy explains what personal information R&Q Interiors (R & Q Pty Ltd, ABN 99 620 764 829) collects through this website, why we collect it, who can see it, and how you can ask us to change or delete it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Information you give us

If you submit the enquiry form, we collect the details you type into it: your name, email address, phone number, suburb, the type of work you are considering, your budget range, your timing and your message.

We use those details only to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and keep a record of the conversation. They are emailed to info@rqinteriors.com and stored by our website host. We do not sell them, rent them, or pass them to anyone outside the project. If your enquiry needs a subcontractor, consultant or supplier to price part of the work, we share only what that person needs to price it.

Information collected automatically

Like every website, this one records basic technical information when a page loads: your IP address, browser and device type, the page you requested, and the site or search engine you arrived from. Our host, Netlify, keeps these server logs to run and secure the site.

We also use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — how many people visit, which pages they read, which suburb or city they are in (estimated from the IP address, not stored by us), and whether they came from Google, social media or a direct link. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and reports to us in aggregate. We cannot see your name, your email address or your identity in these reports.

Cookies, and how to turn them off

The only cookies this site sets are the Google Analytics ones described above. Nothing on this site requires cookies to work — you can block or delete them in your browser settings and every page will still function normally.

To opt out of Google Analytics across all websites, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or use your browser's tracking-protection feature, which blocks analytics scripts.

Third parties we rely on

Netlify (website hosting and form handling), Google Analytics (site statistics), and Google Workspace (our email). Each of these providers stores data on servers that may be outside Australia, and each is bound by its own privacy terms.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as we may reasonably need them — during the quoting process, through the build, and afterwards for the warranty period, because a warranty claim depends on having the project record. Analytics data is retained on Google's standard schedule and holds no identifying detail.

Access, correction and deletion

Email info@rqinteriors.com or call 0431 837 378 and ask. You can request a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will action a deletion request unless we are required to keep the record — for example, contract and warranty documents for a completed build.
